About More/Less

More of what your skin needs. Less of everything it doesn't.

More/Less makes minimalist skincare for anyone with skin: fragrance free, unisex and multi-use, so one bottle can do the work of several.

It started with a crowded bathroom shelf: a face oil, a hair oil, a beard oil, a cuticle oil, half of them scented and most of them marketed to just one kind of person. We wanted one good bottle that worked for everyone in the house.

What the name means

The slash reads three ways, and all three are us:

• More / less: more nourishment, less clutter. Fewer steps, fewer products, fewer unnecessary ingredients.
• More over less: quality on top, excess underneath.
• More or less: relaxed and unfussy. Skincare doesn't have to be perfect to work.

What we believe

• Less, but better. Every ingredient earns its place. If it doesn't do a job, it doesn't go in. See what's in Universal Oil.
• For every body. Unisex and unfragranced by default, formulated with all skin types and tones in mind.
• Radically clear. Plain-language directions, full ingredient lists and honest claims. No miracle promises.
• Do more with one. Multi-use products that replace several bottles, saving money, space and packaging.

Who it's for

Anyone with skin. We never assume a gender, age, skin tone or skin type, and we never treat one of them as the default. It's gender neutral skincare for shared bathrooms, whole households and anyone who'd rather have fewer bottles on the shelf.

Our first product, Universal Oil, is a fragrance free dry oil for face, body, hair, beard and cuticles. It's coming soon.
